What I offer to you:

FREE INITIAL INTERVIEW

During this first 15-30 minute meeting, the hope is to get to know each other- I will listen to what you are looking for, I will share what I can provide to you and we will get to know each other. Then, you can let me know if you want to hire me to support you. It is very important that you and your birthing partner feel comfortable with me and my role in your birth. This can be virtual or in person, whichever you wish!

TWO PRENATAL MEETINGS

These sessions include your child-birth education training, the co-creation of your “birth plan” (or “birth blueprint” some call it) and hands-on practice of comfort measures and various labor and delivery positions. The specific content of those meetings is individualized for each client, based on your previous knowledge and experience and your needs! (For Elected C-Section support: we will do one prenatal meeting!)

UNLIMITED PRENATAL COMMUNICATION

Unlimited support via text, phone or email throughout your pregnancy journey. Weekly check-ins from 36 weeks and on. Check-ins allow you to share information about how you are doing; you to ask whatever questions you have; us to make specific plans for when labor begins, and for me (as both a doula and therapist) to support you emotionally in whichever way you want.

UNDIVIDED ATTENTION DURING BIRTH PREP WEEKS

My on-call period for you begins at 38 weeks until your baby is born. I only take 1-2 clients per month, attending to the birthing timeframes so that everyone has my full availability for their birth “window”.

BIRTH-DAY (OR NIGHT) SUPPORT

I provide continual physical, emotional and mental care for the birthing person and birthing partner throughout your labor and delivery at your chosen birth center or hospital.

I take on the role of helping to create lines of crystal clear communication between all people on your birth team (birth partner, nurses, doctors, midwives, family members) so that you feel confident, aware, and empowered about what is happening to your body and your life throughout the entire process!

I am very happy to take any easily capturable photos and videos via my i-phone of any moments of your birthing process you want documented- and airdrop to you before I leave the hospital at no extra charge.

I remain with you 1-2 hours post birth until you feel ready to rest and have some family time!

POST PARTUM RESOURCES

A 60-90 minute postpartum visit to provide you with a detailed account of what I took notes about during your birth, discussion and answering questions, help with infant feeding and newborn care [and my massively popular and highly reviewed lactation cookies].

… and ME

As your doula, I offer you my rigorous training in both the doula world and the psychological world, my experience (as a therapist, a doula, and a VBAC mom of two), my energy, my compassion, my heart and my hands to fully support what YOU want for your birth.

BIRTH DOULA SUPPORT: $1,000

C-SECTION SUPPORT: $600

The retainer fee is 50% of cost and remainder is due at 37 weeks.
I accept cash, check, or venmo.
I also offer customizable payment plans to suit your family budget.
**Birth Doula fees are typically considered eligible for reimbursement through your flexible spending account or health savings account.

Our Next Steps…

  • Email me to schedule initial interview

We will set up a (free) initial interview that should include you, me, and any other birthing partner (your partner, spouse, parent, etc.). I will try to make that happen within the week you contact me.

  • Initial Interview and Decision Time

During our interview we will get to know each other, I will ask you a couple questions about what you are looking for and I will answer anything you’d like to know about me and my practice.

  • Logistics and Plans and We're OFF!

You will sign required paperwork, submit the 50% retainer fee, and then we would schedule our two prenatal education sessions to happen before you are 36 weeks!
